Bringing children, families and communities together
Transitional Living Program
The Transitional Living Program is designed to allow students the opportunity to hone the skills they have learned in other therapeutic environments, such as residential treatment. It is crafted as a “hands-on” learning / doing environment.
Students will be involved in numerous daily interactions that are similar to those in a typical family. These will include household chores, meal planning and preparation, laundry, minor home repair, acquisition of age-appropriate job responsibilities, planning and budgeting for leisure / recreation activities, meeting appointment schedules of the others in the program, etc.
