Safely Home School

Safely Home School is a Specialized Education Program for children who have been identified as having an educational handicap or are presenting home, school or community behavior problems. The school’s primary focus is the remediation of aggression by addressing problems both therapeutically and behaviorally. Prosocial skills are taught and modeled to develop alternative behavior patterns that are more conducive to family and community participation. Classroom instruction and therapies are provided by certified Severe Behavior Handicap Teachers, Licensed Independent Social Workers, and Non-tax Certified Teachers. The teacher/student ratio is 1:5 to preserve the necessity for individualized behavior programs with the students. The school recruits and admits students of any race, color, gender, or ethnic origin to all its rights, privileges, programs and activities.

Safely Home School believes in rigorous standards, both behaviorally and academically, to achieve the outcomes necessary for future success. The Specialized Education Program she provide to all students an adaptive, flexible, and nurturing environment which encourages and challenges them to become independent, employable and involved members of a community. The program focuses on social skills, behavior management techniques, employability skills, and independent living skills, which help students to be successful.
